About the CISD
The Council of Information Services Directors (CISD), established in 1991, is comprised of IS Directors or other IS officers of Louisiana government entities and higher education institutions. The purpose of the Council is to support the growth, advancement, and sustainability of Information Technology (IT) resources for State government and to serve as a primary advisory group for the State Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Our Vision
To have active participation of all members, to be recognized and sought after by decision makers and to have a clear and attainable agenda.
Primary Goal
Use the wealth of expertise and experience of the State’s information systems directors and personnel to address issues facing the State’s information services community
